Java SDK version 1.1 has been released in beta here:

Reports module now performs a pre-condition check prior to report generation job submission: It checks whether the project has any valid data points that will show in the report or not.

PythonSDK - Sync client returns the original response object of the HTTP request instead of the JSON data extracted from the response body. Note: The Sync client makes all requests sequentially (instead of asynchronously, which the Async client does)

This allows clients to extract any desired attributes from the response instead of being restricted to the response body. This is also helpful in case the response body is empty.
